"There's No Place Like Home"

Found these little red shoes today for our soon-coming little girl, Maranatha Pearl, and they remind me of Judy Garland's ruby red slippers. They're not sequin-y or sparkly, but they still feel awfully glamourous... little red velvet MaryJanes! I'm pretty sure that the lao-ren, or elderly lady, that was selling them, makes them- she has other shoe parts on display and will make a pair or replace the sole inside your shoe while you wait. They cost the equivalent of about 55 cents! And they are adorable! I can't wait to kiss the little feet that will go in these!
