"Out of the mouth of babes..."

Well, our two little boys are growing up, as is evidenced by the new things they are saying these days! Yesterday, Doug was tickling Baxter (who'll be 2 in July) and after a good minute or so, Baxter laid back on the couch and pointed his finger at daddy and said, "no-no"! (something he's been hearing a lot of lately!) We laughed so much that he continued doing that anytime we'd tickle him for the rest of the night!
Ethan (who'll be 4 in July) has recently had a terrible bout of hives due to some mysterious food allergy, which we are praying will pass quickly. Last night I suggested that we pray about it and ask God to help him sleep well and not itch all night long, and he said, "well, I think God might be talking to somebody else right now." He was so amazed when I told him that God is big enough to hear everybody praying all at the same time. So he spent a couple of minutes listing off all the people that might be praying right then (Brady, Miss Cindy, Robert, Cooper, GranBren, Daddy, Brother Nick, Mr. Chad... on and on and on!). He smiled so big and said, "God is so powerful, mommy."

So cute! I asked Silas (our 2 year old) the other day where Jesus lives...he pointed to his belly. We had a little anatomy lesson on the heart after that. :)
