Ethan's Play Day

Yesterday was quite the eventful day for Ethan, beginning with our morning bike ride, when we met 2 little girls (4 & 6 years old) that he got to play with in the park down from our apartment.



They had such a good time chasing each other in the park and playing together even though they couldn't speak to each other.

Then, later in the afternoon, my friend Lucy came over and invited us to come with her to pick up her daughter, Kitty, from her grandma's house. Ethan rode the whole way on Lucy's motorbike while she pushed it alongside him, even through 6 lanes of traffic!So the kids got to play and eat snacks together. Here's a picture of Ethan's friend Kitty: And another great thing happened: Kitty's grandma agreed to teach me to make jiaoza sometime soon! Then after we walked home, Ethan's little neighbor friend that lives downstairs chased him around the yard before we came upstairs to eat dinner! What a great day for Mr. Social!
