Today we took a river boat cruise up the River Ping, here in Chiang Mai, Thailand, as a final excursion as a family of four (plus Nana!). The mountains were so beautiful, with the clouds down on the tops, and the trees & flowers are bright & exotic here!
It was a really nice ride- the breeze was blowing, we got to see some different parts of the city, and the boys enjoyed going under bridges...
...and we all enjoyed a nice "snack" they brought us when we stopped halfway through the ride. They gave us a tour of an herb garden, with cinammon trees, lemongrass, sweet basil plants, a coffee bean vine/tree, and many other herbs & spices. It was great! Then, we sat down at tables & they brought fresh pineapple, watermelon, and a variety of drinks from the herb garden.
They had some funny statues at the entrance, so we got a picture of the boys doing a little water buffalo riding! Yes- this is officially the final pregnant picture of Jessica, 24 hours before Maranatha is due to arrive!
