All Things New

This has been a week for "new" things in our family. Obviously, the biggest (well, she’s actually quite small & delicate) "new" thing is not a thing at all, but our precious little daughter who is now just 5 days old! And Nana bought Baxter some new sunglasses that he's been sporting around town and clutching quite tightly in his hands when we ride in taxis... he's so proud of his new look!

Ethan has been asking for his own bicycle for a LONG time, and we keep telling him that we'll get him one once we get to our final city. The managers here at the place we're staying have a 5-year-old daughter who just got a new bike for her birthday, and so they loaned Ethan her old bicycle for to use for the remainder of our time here in Thailand. It’s the perfect size and now he’s the “man about town”… making visits to the office, riding to the playground, and jetting off to meals at the dining hall! (Check out this picture; isn't he getting tall & lanky?)

Still, our favorite bit of “new”-ness is Maranatha, who has already endeared herself to all of us…
