Back to the Ranch

Tonight the boys have all their animals and cars out (and random figures & small toys) and are playing with the ultra-portable, homemade fabric ranch that GranBren (Doug's mom) made & gave them for Christmas! These kinds of toys (small, easy to transport, and infinitely imaginative) are great for the boys, and they have such a blast. And lest you think that by "boys", I only mean Ethan & Baxter, see for yourself the three "boys" playing on the floor tonight:I'm in the next room now, and hearing things like, (in Ethan's best official delivery-man voice) "GranBren, here is your sweet & sour chicken delivery from the front restaurant." And then Doug, in his best female voice impersonation, saying, "oh, well, I hope it's still good, it only took three weeks to get here." I think they have a tomato garden planted with various sizes of Bob the Tomato, too!
