East meets West
It is incredible to see the blending of American culture even into this remote part of the world! This province is a mix of central and eastern Asian cultures, and now... American culture as well! Colonel Sanders is expanding eastward!
We went to Pizza Hut last night... complete with Kraft Parmesan Cheese & deep-dish pan pizza, tasting just like it would in any American town! We all enjoyed the taste of home!The main difference about THIS Pizza Hut is that this is an upscale place to bring business clients, etc... not just a run-of-the-mill fast food joint, but a very swank restaurant!
Sometimes, English words get used on shirts or even on signs just because it's English... but it doesn't make any sense! This store we saw last night in an underground mall was called..."Tell You Steal Thily" ??? Don't know what it means, but it seemed like a popular store!

Great to see an update from you guys...We'll be checking your blog regularly now. Good to hear that your move has gone well. That's encouragement for me while I am in the midst of packing up our house for our move to England.
