Birthday Bikes Seven Weeks Early
Ethan will turn 6 in six weeks, and Baxter will turn 4 in eight weeks, but they got their birthday presents from us today. Why? Because we got them bicycles, and we didn't want them to miss out on half a summer of riding bikes. I don't know if we've ever seen the two of them as excited as they were this morning!
Even Maranatha had a good time running after them and trying to "help". :-)After dinner tonight, they decided they wanted to get in a little more riding... so off they went!
Being a parent gives so much insight into the nature of God... because as their mom and dad, we were so delighted to give them these gifts that were so well-suited for them... but how much MORE God must love us with the amazing gifts He gives!

Love the bikes! I'm so glad the boys are enjoying them- it's such a rite of passage in child-hood, isn't it?! Our oldest got a "big girl bike" for her 5th birthday last summer, now she wants to take the training wheels off- not sure we are ready for that, but you can't stop them from growing, can you?

I'm so excited about their bikes! I know they are so thrilled! That park will be perfect for them! Maranatha is precious running after them. They will look so forward to their bike-time!
