New City, New Views

The view from our "salon" (a.k.a. living room)The views around town: minarets and mosques
(yes, that's Doug and Baxter to the right- Doug is wearing the yellow backpack and Baxter has a yellow umbrella- we thought it might rain... clearly, the day turned out beautiful!)

A view of the sky on one particular street:

The seaside view of where the two continents of Europe (to the back left) and Asia (in the foreground on the right) almost touch: Istanbul

A view of Roman walls still standing near the sea:

The view you see if you're on a boat and looking towards the part of town we live in:

How gorgeous is that?! WOW! That's so pretty. I loved the wall picture. It reminded me a little bit of Chang Mai. You don't see walls around a city very often. Aunt Doc came by the office and brought me a newspaper clipping of your city. She met someone who had been there, and got the newspaper article, and brought it by to me. It was very interesting. It talked about Turkish Delight. Isn't that what was mentioned on the Narnia movie? Anyway, those pictures are amazing.
