But satisfied and happy toast, no?
Keep plugging away. You're doing an amazing job.
And I am SO glad you had a birthday party - I was wondering if something fun would happen for you. I am so glad it did!
We're remembering you in prayer, and we'll add that to specific prayers.
I LOVED the idea of the virtual birthday party! What a great surprise.
We're holding you up,

I can imagine. When Ben and I vacationed in Paris I felt like my brain needed a break from all the French I was hearing (and trying to communicate). And that was only for 10 days!
Yes, but today yours, Jess, is birthday toast! I hope your day is as wonderful as can be.
Love ya!
Hi- I've been reading your Making Home blog (and you posted on mine once), and just found your family blog! It's a fun read! If you can share here, why are you living in other countries (China and now Turkey as I understand it)?
After many years of studying Spanish, I studied in Ecuador for a semester during college. Even after all those years of study, I still had toast-brain, for the first few weeks, especially, from the constant absorption of new sounds, meanings, intonations... it's very detailed work to learn a language. I can't imagine having to learn the language from scratch! Hang in there!
