Fasting & Feasting

Many people here observed Ramadan over the last month, fasting from sunup to sundown. Last week, this time of not eating throughout the day ended. Celebrations abounded on the final day, with people travelling from apartment to apartment, tasting the goods and treats at each home; women at each home worked to serve each guest the variety of foods she had made for this celebration time.
